News ~ November 2001.

The Open Evening went well and by all accounts was a Great Success. A success anyway! The half a dozen or so people who did come along seemed to thoroughly enjoy themselves. They were free to wander around the Manor, have a chat, buy a drink at the bar and meet like Minded people...as well as talk to me, and browse the full range of Chuck's Products without any obligation or commitment whatsoever. And all completely free of charge! It just goes to show that the complaints about nothing "Spiritual" ever happening on the Island are completely unfounded!!

Den Clare made a guest appearence and wished us all good luck. You can visit Den's Web Site at www.uk-hypnotherapy.com where you can read all about Den's work, his ethics and code of conduct, etc. There is nothing this man does not know about hypnotherapy!

Finally we rounded off the evening with a free drink at the bar. Daphne (the owner) said the evening must have been a success because when she had a Bridal Fair at the Manor some time ago, only two people showed up ALL DAY! And she had layed on free Champagne. She is now booked up every Saturday until 2003...

Or just come along and share the affluence and have a cool drink in this beautiful Old English Manor. This venue has recently been restored to its former Grandeur and is set in four acres of beautiful woodland scenery, you can even have a game of Croquet on the lawn!

There will be a licenced bar where you can obtain drinks or something softer or tea/coffee.

The Not So Good News!

In Light of the recent events in New York, Dr Chuck Spezzano ~ founder of Psychology of Vision therapeutic healing model, has issued a Mission Statement.

His Words can be seen at the Psychology of Vision website. Just follow the link and click on the news page, then click on the current Newsletter. And sadly I would like to wish a fond fairwell to "young at heart" Hoby ~ my Mum's pet Labrodor cross Bull Terrier.

The strain of recent events proved too much for him and he passed away soon after the last Inner Vision Workshop. He was such a sweety! He was ever loving, fun to be with and everyone's best friend, although at the ripe old age of eleven, most people still thought he was a "puppy". The odd occasions that I was lucky enough to have walked with him I think he got chatted up more times than I ever did! In my Mum's words, "He was the best natured dog I ever had." He will be sadly missed.

On a brighter note, he is now reunited with my Old Pal "Sumo", his compatriot and partner in crime. Between them they managed to climb onto the kitchen work surface and finish off my brothers three teer wedding cake. I cannot help thinking that Heaven has a special place just for the two of them! I like to think of them as the "Dastardly Dou."

What's New...

In Newport, Julie Jones-Evans has an excellent hall with a kitchen and toilet facilities. It will definitely be worth checking out! Then there is the Quay Arts Centre, on The Quay at the River Medina. What a Great Setting ! And of course just down the Quay is the Riverside Centre, with views of the river

I have had a meeting with Daphne Mitchell, the owner of Landguard Manor in Shanklin, and as you can see from above this is now an Inner Vision Workshop Venue. The Workshop room has ample space for up to 60 and is set in an Old English Manor with four acres of beautiful woodland scenery. This is a Summer Venue if ever I saw one?

My Mum has agreed to retype my books on a 386 (computer) a friend gave me since my Amstrad 8256 refuses to read the old format floppy disks which I originally typed them on. After retyping and some minor editing the manuscripts will be available and sent out to publishers. So keep your fingers crossed. Thanks Mum! God bless you.
And my second booklet will be printed soon - The Power of Holiness - the sequal to "Beyond The Dead Zone." Those of you who are familiar with my first booklet will be awaiting this one with anticipation...

Unfortunately the software we were going to use namely "Wordstar" appears not to be compatible with Windows. In that, when the text is opened with or pasted into a Word Document, it appears with random generated foreign characters at the end of every word ! So if anyone has a DOS based WordProcessor package they could send me or knows of where I can download one... please let me know?

Back at the Broadway Centre for the next workshop around the end October / beginning November, (details to be finalised). Entitled, "Practical Mysticism" I look forward to seeing you there.
